Soraya Herbert is the Editor-in-Chief of Beauty Bar, which reaches women of all ages researching the true meaning of the word “beauty”. Beauty Bar is the source for what matters to women now, from beauty tips to beauty news. Herbert began her publishing career at Beauty Bar, where she started as an editorial assistant and worked alongside editor-in-chief for four years before becoming the current editor-in-chief.
Before taking on this journey at Beauty Bar, Herbert attended Texas State University with a degree in public relations with a concentration in digital media. Herbert loves the world of beauty and has been involved in the beauty world since her teen years by doing hair and makeup for all kinds of events (e.g. birthday parties, prom and homecoming), and also worked as a makeup artist for Sephora cosmetic store.
Herbert created this website to show the stories of women all over the world succeeding in the world of beauty. Creating content to share her story and provide a journalistic outlet for the world of beauty to show that it’s not just about lipstick and blush, it also about the women behind the lipstick and blush.
